Personal Security Officer

They are highly skilled security professionals who are trained in the personal protection of individuals or groups of people. Bodyguards are often responsible for the protection of VIPs such as celebrities, politicians, executives and other noteworthy individuals.

Primary responsibility of a PSO is to protect the principal against possible threats. A PSO is required to operate within the confines of the assigned tasks and are required to operate alone or as part of a team both in armed and unarmed roles. PSOs should be physically fit, mentally alert and willing to take risks.
